MailChimp Integration

Overview:

Follow this guide to integrate your Acenda store directly with MailChimp. This connects new Acenda subscribers' emails directly with MailChimp.

To setup MailChimp integration follow the steps below:

Setup MailChimp
1. Create a MailChimp account.
2. Login to your MailChimp Dashboard
3. Navigate to Customer > Account
4. Click Extras > API keys
The Your API keys page displays.
5. Click Create A Key
The generated API key displays.
Locate the List ID for your primary MailChimp subscriber list. 
6. Navigate the the Lists page
If you do not currently have a list then please create one, e.g. Main Subscriber List
7. Navigate to the Stats drop-down next to your List and select the Settings option
8. Scroll down and identify the Unique Id for your list
Acenda Settings
1. From the Acenda dashboard Services
2. Then click Services Library
The Services page displays. Locate the Mail Chimp service.
 
3. Click Add Service

4. Complete the MailChimp Service Form 

  • Status: Toggle the service on/off
  • Title: A friendly name for your service, eg. MailChimp Integration
  • MailChimp API Key: Copy/paste the API Key from Step 5 above.
  • List Unique ID: Copy/pase the Unique ID from Step 8 above.
  • Double Opt In Enabled: Checkbox this if you want to enforce double-opt in for new subscribers.
5. Click Save
