Activate Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager

Overview:

Track website visitors and activity with Acenda's ready-to-go integration with Google Analytics (GA) (with Enhanced Ecommerce) and Google Tag Manager (GTM).

To activate your Google Analytics and Tag Manager options follow the steps below:

1. From the Acenda dashboard click Settings
2. Then click Site Settings
The Site Settings page displays showing General settings options.
3. Scroll down to the Metrics & Analytics section
4. Using the dropdown select either Google Analytics (GA) or Google Tag Manager (GTM)
5. Enter your Google Tracking ID (located in your Google Account)
  • Example for Google Analytics: UA-50227908-1
  • Example for Google Tag Manager: GTM-Y964HE
6. Select the Enhanced Ecommerce checkbox if you want to enable enhanced tracking with Google Analytics. We recommend enabling this option.

If you decide to use Google Tag Manager then it's important to configure the Google Universal Analytics Tag properly.  

We recommend adjusting the following settings.  

Note: You must click Publish in Google Tag manager to publish your changes.
